Starting on April 3, CCBB hosts the Helena Solberg Film Festival. The programming highlights themes on the feminine and historical political conflicts. The film festival runs until April 22.

Director Helena Solberg celebrates 80 years old in June. Helena Solberg has a unique career that includes 17 films directed by her. Her political and feminist militancy, coupled with the experience with the Brazilian Cinema Novo, resulted in a rare cinematography, attentive to the movements of her time and engaged in ways of looking and acting in the world.

Over the course of three weeks, the audience of Brasília will have the opportunity to know the complete work of this Brazilian director, producer and screenwriter, who has built a unique trajectory.

The show includes inclusive sessions for accessibility, such as descriptive subtitles, and translation in sign language.
