EMBASSY OF SOUTH AFRICA PROMOTED WINE TASTING

The South African ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Vust Mavímbela, and the Economic Counselor Cecilia Iturralde received journalists, businesspeople and sommeliers on the afternoon of November 27, 2023 for a presentation and tasting of South African wines.

The reception took place at the official residence, in the South Embassy Sector of Brasília, and was attended by diplomats and wine producing companies from South Africa. After the arrival of the guests, the ambassador and the Economic Counselor gave welcome speeches highlighting the quality of South African wines and the growth of trade relations between South Africa and Brazil. Representatives from South African wine companies also spoke and presented their products.

The tasting began and guests were able to see the high quality of the various brands of wine served at the event. The beautiful event was highly praised by everyone.
