The Embassy of the Republic of Korea will host the “Korean Stories Festival: 2026 Film Showcase” (Festival de Histórias Coreanas: Mostra de Cinema 2026) at Cine Brasília (Asa Sul) from October 15 to 21.
The event will feature a variety of feature films and short films that portray different aspects of contemporary Korean society, such as coming-of-age stories involving adolescents and young adults, themes of family and women, social isolation, and digital culture.
The festival was organized with the aim of showcasing—through 21 outstanding Korean films (8 features and 13 shorts)—diverse facets of Korean society and sensibilities, thereby further deepening cultural exchange between Korea and Brazil.
The Korean Stories Festival 2026 (Festival de Histórias Coreanas: Mostra de Cinema 2026) will be presented at Cine Brasília and tickets for the entire program can be obtained free of charge via the SYMPLA website.
