EMBASSIES OF SWITZERLAND AND KOREA CELEBRATE GAMES WITH BRAZIL

Ambassadors Pietro Lazzeri, from Switzerland, and Lim Ki Mo, from Korea, organized parties on the days when their countries played against Brazil in the FIFA WORLD CUP. The events took place in the official residences and received dozens of Brazilians for an exemplary celebration of friendship between their countries and Brazil.

The game between Brazil and Switzerland took place on November 28th and the Swiss embassy received guests at the official residence. A large structure was set up so that everyone could watch the game in comfort and also enjoy Swiss cuisine.

Swiss and Brazilian fans cheered for their countries and the result of the game with Brazil’s victory did not prevent the party from ending in dancing and fun. Ambassador Pietro Lazzeri and Ambassadress Enrica Battistutta danced to all the lively international and Brazilian rhythms.

At the Korean Embassy, on December 5th, the atmosphere of celebration and union between Korea and Brazil was no different. The guests were received at the official residence by Ambassador Lim Ki Mo, already nationally known for his talent in singing Brazilian songs. The embassy presented the guests with shirts celebrating the friendship between the two countries.

The guests brought drums that cheered everyone. The Koreans showed that they have an organized crowd and believed in the strength of their team. The Brazil team was in a day of inspiration and the result was another victory in the World Cup.

The Korean team was saddened by their elimination, but that didn’t reduce the excitement at the embassy party as the ambassador sang for everyone and showed that the friendship with Brazil is unshakable. Guests enjoyed a Brazilian barbecue and Korean cuisine and danced to lively music from Brazil and Korea, including the famous Oppa gangnam style, of course.

Brazil was unfortunately eliminated by Croatia on December 9th. THE GUIDE recognizes the merit of the Croatian team, which showed organization, strength, coolness and quality. The 2022 FIFA World Cup ends for Brazil, but the happy memories of the celebrations of unity provided by the Swiss and Korean embassies will remain as examples that football should be a reason for unity and fraternization among the peoples of the countries of the international community.
