Another international meeting aimed at promoting products, technologies, and services of the Brazilian Defense Industrial Base (BID). From April 20 to 23, the Ministry of Defense, through the Secretariat of Defense Products (Seprod), participated in the 19th edition of the Defence Service Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA) and National Security Asia (NATSEC Asia). The event was held at the Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Centre, located in Kuala Lumpur.
The meeting brought together high-level government and military delegations, as well as executives from defense companies from various regions of the world, consolidating itself as one of the main international fairs focused on the area of Defense and Security in the Asian continent. On that occasion, representatives from Seprod participated in bilateral meetings with the Brazilian ambassador to Malaysia, Daniella Ortega de Paiva Menezes, and with the Deputy Secretary-General of Malaysia, Dato Abdul Hadi bin Omar. During the meeting, there was a presentation on Brazilian defense products and a copy of the Defense Products Catalog, launched in March in Brazil, was delivered.
At the fair, Seprod provided institutional support to participating Brazilian companies, such as Embraer, Imbel, Agrale, and Siatt. The capabilities of the national industry were also promoted to the Asian market and other markets present at the event, which enabled the prospecting of new markets, the fostering of strategic partnerships, and the contribution to the strengthening and development of the national defense industry. The event also allowed the identification of potential partners and investors, in addition to opening new perspectives for strengthening technical and industrial cooperation relations, with positive repercussions for the defense industry, the Armed Forces, and Brazilian society.

Seprod promove BID brasileira na Malásia
Brasília (DF), 24/4/2026 – Mais um encontro internacional com objetivo de divulgar produtos, tecnologias e serviços da Base Industrial de Defesa (BID) brasileira. Nos dias 20 a 23 de abril, o Ministério da Defesa, por meio da Secretaria de Produtos de Defesa (Seprod), participou da 19ª edição do Defence Service Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA) and National Security Asia (NATSEC Asia). O evento foi realizado no Centro Internacional de Comércio e Exposições da Malásia, localizado na cidade de Kuala Lumpur.
O encontro reuniu delegações governamentais e militares de alto nível, além de executivos de empresas de defesa de diversas regiões do mundo, consolidando-se como uma das principais feiras internacionais voltadas à área de Defesa e Segurança no continente asiático. Na ocasião, representantes da Seprod participaram de reuniões bilaterais com a embaixadora do Brasil na Malásia, Daniella Ortega de Paiva Menezes, e com o secretário-geral adjunto da Malásia, Dato Abdul Hadi bin Omar. Durante o encontro, houve a apresentação sobre os produtos de defesa brasileira e entregue um exemplar do Catálogo de Produtos de Defesa, lançado em março no Brasil.
Na feira, a Seprod prestou apoio institucional às empresas brasileiras participantes, como Embraer, Imbel, Agrale e Siatt. Também foi realizada a divulgação das capacidades da indústria nacional junto ao mercado asiático e a outros mercados presentes no evento, o que possibilitou a prospecção de novos mercados, o fomento a parcerias estratégicas e a contribuição para o fortalecimento e o desenvolvimento da BID nacional.
O evento permitiu, ainda, a identificação de potenciais parceiros e investidores, além da abertura de novas perspectivas para o fortalecimento das relações de cooperação técnica e industrial, com reflexos positivos para a indústria de defesa, as Forças Armadas e a sociedade brasileira.
