GENERAL RULES OF THE GUIDE – BSBCOR AMATEUR BEACH VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
The tournament organizers will award the following prizes:
– Trophy and medals for the Champion;

– “Top Four” medals for fourth place;

We inform everyone that the main objective of the tournament is to foster camaraderie among members of embassies, international organizations, and partner companies of THE GUIDE. Games should be fun above all else, and respect, camaraderie, ethics, and a spirit of fair play should always be present in every game.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS ON TEAMS AND SUBSTITUTIONS
01) Teams may have 4 to 8 players, with 4 on the court and four reserves;
02) Substitutions in each game will be unlimited, provided they are authorized by the referees;
03) The tournament aims to include foreign players on the teams, however, the organization decided to heed requests and not limit the number of Brazilian players on each team;
04) Teams may include players from various embassies and international organizations; 05) Players may be:
5.1) Foreign employees (Diplomats, attachés, assistants and their relatives) of embassies and international organizations;
5.2) Brazilian employees of embassies or international organizations.
6) Brazilians participating in the tournament may be required to prove their employment relationship with the diplomatic representation;
7) The tournament organizers may allow the participation of invited players in advance, if they are not professional beach volleyball players;
8) The tournament organizers reserve the right to disqualify a team that presents players different from the list or who are not previously authorized by the organization;
9) The tournament organizers reserve the right to exclude from the tournament any participant who is in violation of the event guidelines (including hostile or discourteous behavior towards other participants or members of the organization);

11) Player lists must include: Name / CPF / Player Status (Diplomat/Attaché; relative; Civil Servant or Guest Player) / Email / Cell Phone Number
12) Teams must arrive for accreditation at 7:30 AM on May 16th;
13) The tournament administration will provide vests for teams that do not have uniforms.
GAMES
It’s important to remember that this is an amateur tournament and camaraderie is our main goal.
Games will be played from 8:15 AM until 1:00 PM at the latest. For this reason, matches will have fewer points than the official rules of the sport, as per the information below:
14) Matches will consist of 2 sets of 15 points each and a final set of 12 points, if necessary. The team that wins two sets will be the winner of the match. In case of a 14-14 tie (or 11-11 in the final set), the winner of the set will be the team that scores two consecutive points or reaches 20 points first;
15) The schedule with the order of the matches will be published at the tournament.
FEMALE PARTICIPATION IN TEAMS
16) The participation of female players in teams is not mandatory, however, the team that has female players on the court for at least one entire set will receive an extra point after reaching ten points in that set.
FOREIGN PLAYER TEAMS
17) In order to encourage the participation of teams with foreign players, the Tournament Administration will award an extra point, starting from the 5th (fifth) point of each set, to the team that has only foreign citizens on the team.
REFEREES AND EXPULSION RULES
18) Judges may expel players based on beach volleyball rules or for behavior inappropriate to the objectives of the tournament. Everyone is asked to understand this rule and respect the referees;
19) The tournament organization reserves the right to allow or not the return of an expelled player in future matches.
CHANGING ROOMS, DRINKS AND FOOD
20) The ASCADE Club has drinking fountains, changing rooms and a restaurant with lunch, snacks, appetizers and drinks. The Club is located in the South Clubs Sector, in front of Clube Naval. The social area of the beach volleyball courts will have a barbecue grill selling grilled meats (espetinhos) and side dishes, as well as various beverages for sale.
ATTENTION: It is strictly forbidden to bring any beverages other than water into the club. This is a rule of the ASCADE Club, which will be selling beverages on site. We ask for everyone to understand this club rule.
22) There will be a trampoline for the children attending the tournament to play on.
LIST FOR ENTRY TO THE ASCADE CLUB
23) Only people whose names are on the event participant list will be allowed to enter the club on the day of the tournament. It is extremely necessary that the teams provide the full names of their players and cheering squad members.
The information must be sent to the director of THE GUIDE, Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira, by May 14th at 6 PM.
24) The tournament will give free access to the club for players, sponsors, and guests up to a total of one hundred people in a presence list. People exceeding this number may enter the club upon payment of BRL 15.00 (fifteen reais) for DayUse access to the beach volleyball and footvolley court area. This fee will be charged by the club for people ten years of age and older.
25) The tournament will provide free access to the club’s internal parking lot for two vehicles per team. Other vehicles may park in the internal area upon payment of BRL 20.00 (twenty reais). Another option is to park on the street in front of the club.
Teams must inform the license plates of the vehicles that will enter the parking lot free of charge.

Informamos a todos que o torneio tem como objetivo principal a confraternização entre os membros das embaixadas, organismos internacionais e empresas parceiras do THE GUIDE. Os jogos devem ser uma diversão acima de tudo e o respeito, a camaradagem, a ética e o espírito de fair play devem estar sempre presentes em cada jogo.
NÚMERO DE JOGADORES NAS EQUIPES E SUBSTITUIÇÕES
01) As equipes poderão ter de 04 a 08 jogadores, sendo 4 na quadra e quatro reservas;
02) As substituições em cada jogo serão ilimitadas, desde que autorizadas pelos juízes;
03) O torneio tem entre seus objetivos a participação de estrangeiros nos times, porém a organização decidiu atender a pedidos e não limitar o número de jogadores brasileiros em cada time;
04) As equipes podem ter jogadores de várias embaixadas e organismos internacionais;
05) Os jogadores podem ser:
5.1) Servidores estrangeiros (Diplomatas, adidos, assistentes e seus parentes) das embaixadas e organismos internacionais;
5.2) Brasileiros funcionários das embaixadas ou organismos internacionais.
06) Os brasileiros que participarem do torneio poderão ser solicitados a comprovar o vínculo empregatício com a representação diplomática;
07) A Organização do torneio poderá permitir previamente a participação de jogadores convidados, desde que não sejam jogadores profissionais de vôlei de praia;
08) A Organização do torneio se reserva ao direito de desclassificar um time que apresente jogadores diferentes da listagem ou que não sejam previamente autorizados pela organização;
09) A Organização do torneio se reserva ao direito de excluir do torneio o participante que esteja em desacordo com as diretrizes do evento (incluindo comportamento hostil ou descortês com outros participantes do evento ou membros da organização);
10) As relações dos jogadores de cada equipe deverão ser enviadas até às 18 horas de sexta-feira, dia 08 de maio, para o whatsApp e/ou e-mails do Sr. Pedro Paulo Moreira, Diretor do THE GUIDE:

11) As relações dos jogadores deverão conter:
Nome / CPF / Status do jogador (Diplomata/Adido; parente; Servidor ou Jogador Convidado) / E-mail / Celular
12) Os times deverão comparecer para credenciamento às 7h30 do dia 16 de maio;
13) A administração do torneio fornecerá coletes para os times que não tiverem uniforme.
JOGOS
É importante lembrar que o torneio é amador e a confraternização é nosso objetivo maior. Os jogos serão das 8h15 até no máximo às 13h. Por este motivo, as partidas terão menos pontos do que as regras oficiais do esporte, conforme as informações abaixo:
14) As partidas terão 2 sets de 15 pontos corridos e um último set de 12 pontos, se necessário . O time que vencer dois sets será o vencedor da partida. Em caso de empate 14 x 14 (ou 11×11 no último set), será vencedor do set o time que fizer dois pontos em sequência ou atingir primeiro o 20º ponto;
15) O quadro com a ordem dos confrontos será divulgado no torneio.
PARTICIPAÇÃO FEMININA NOS TIMES
16) A participação de jogadores de sexo feminino nos times não é obrigatória, porém o time que tiver jogadores de sexo feminino em quadra por pelo menos um set inteiro terá um ponto extra após atingir o décimo ponto naquele set.
TIMES DE JOGADORES ESTRANGEIROS
17) Com o objetivo de motivar a participação de times com jogadores estrangeiros, a Administração do Torneio dará um ponto extra, a partir do 5º (quinto) ponto de cada set, para o time que tiver somente cidadãos estrangeiros na equipe.
JUÍZES E REGRAS DE EXPULSÃO
18) Os juízes podem expulsar jogadores pelas regras do vôlei de praia ou por comportamento inadequado aos objetivos do torneio. Pede-se a todos que tenham compreensão a esta regra e que respeitem a arbitragem;
19) A organização do torneio se reserva ao direito de permitir ou não o regresso de um jogador expulso em partidas futuras.
VESTUÁRIO, BEBIDAS E ALIMENTAÇÃO
20) O Clube ASCADE tem bebedouros, vestuário e restaurante com almoço, lanches, tira-gostos e bebidas. O Clube se localiza no Setor de Clubes Sul, em frente ao Clube Naval. A área social das quadras de Volei de Praia terá uma churrasqueira com venda de churrasquinhos e acompanhamentos, assim como haverá também venda de bebidas diversas.
ATENÇÃO: É extremamente proibido levar para o clube quaisquer bebidas além de água. Esta é uma regra do Clube ASCADE o qual fará a venda de bebidas no local. Solicitamos a compreensão de todos.
21) Haverá uma cama elástica para as crianças que forem ao torneio brincarem.
LISTA PARA A ENTRADA NO CLUBE ASCADE
22) Somente pessoas com nome na lista de participantes do evento poderão entrar no clube no dia do torneio. É extremamente necessário que as equipes informem os nomes completos de seus jogadores e membros da torcida. As informações devem ser encaminhadas ao diretor do THE GUIDE, Sr. Pedro Paulo Moreira, até o dia 14 de maio às 18h.
23) O torneio dará livre acesso ao clube para os jogadores, patrocinadores e convidados até o número total de cem pessoas. Pessoas que excederem a esse número poderão entrar no clube mediante o pagamento de R$ 15,00 (quinze reais) de DayUse para a área das quadras de vôlei de praia e futevôlei. Esse valor será cobrado para pessoas a partir de dez anos de idade.
24) O torneio dará livre acesso ao estacionamento interno do clube de dois veículos por time. Outros veículos poderão estacionar na área interna mediante o pagamento de R$ 20,00 (vinte reais). Outra opção é estacionar na rua em frente ao clube. Os times deverão informar as placas dos veículos que entrarão no estacionamento de forma gratuita.
