On the occasion of the celebrations of 75th Independence Day of India, President Jair Bolsonaro sent congratulatory letters to President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In his letters, President Jair Bolsonaro said that with its significant vaccine and medicine production capacity, India has a recognised important role in worldwide efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and hoped to intensify even further the bilateral cooperation to overcome this great challenge.
