The ambassador of Italy in Brazil, Mr. Francesco Azzarello, received guests on August 25th for a dinner in honor of the “Associação Brasileira de Jornalistas e Comunicadores da Área Internacional e Diplomática – ABRAJINTER” (Brazilian Association of Journalists and Communicators of the International and Diplomatic Area).

The event took place at the Italian embassy and was attended by the president of ABRAJINTER, Ms. Fabiana Ceyhan, and other associates representing the specialized media outlets, as well as entrepreneurs, academics and personalities from Brasilia’s society.

Guests were received in the social halls of the Italian embassy, a building which is an example of the beautiful architecture found in the Brazilian capital.

The CEO of THE GUIDE, Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira, attended the occasion and congratulated Ambassador Azzarello for the beautiful event. “The ambassador’s recognition of the importance of ABRAJINTER shows that we are on the right path and motivates us to increasingly improve the work of covering international and diplomatic events. I am proud that my law firm has elaborated the statute for the creation of ABRAJINTER and is part of the association’s creation group”, said Mr. Moreira, whose company has been carrying out diplomatic coverage for almost 20 years.

After the guests arrival, the Italian ambassador delivered a speech thanking everyone for their presence and congratulating Ms. Fabiana Ceyhan for the creation of ABRAJINTER, emphasizing the importance of serious journalism in addressing international and diplomatic issues. Afterwards, the president of ABRAJINTER also gave a speech and thanked Ambassador Francesco Azzarello’s tribute. Ms. Ceyhan stressed the importance of the union between journalists and communicators in the international and diplomatic area, allowing for an increase in the quality of professional work and the growth of interaction of ABRAJINTER with foreign governments and international organizations.

Ending the evening’s speeches, Brazilian congressman Acácio Favacho, Secretary of Social Communication of Congress, thanked the Italian ambassador for the initiative in promoting the beautiful dinner, as well as congratulated Mrs. Fabiana Ceyhan, on behalf of the Chamber of Deputies, for creating the ABRAJINTER. The speeches were applauded by everyone.

The ambassador of Italy, Mr. Francesco Azzarello, and Mrs. Fabiana Ceyhan, were honored with beautiful bouquets of flowers. Then, ambassador Azzarello invited everyone to taste the dishes of Italian cuisine served at dinner.

The guests socialized in the embassy’s beautiful social halls and open air areas of the embassy and at the end of the event they were presented with chocolates from the Ferrero brand, one of the various Italian companies with worldwide presence.
