Theater Company Infiltrados takes the audience of Brasília to the house of one of the greatest Brazilian poets, Vinícius de Moraes, in the immersive stage play “Vinícius”. The season comes to Mapati Theater in March.
Like a patchwork quilt, the stage play comes together through reports of friends and family of Vinícius de Moraes as well as poetry and songs aligned with the history of bossa nova, a rhythm that has eternalized an era. Rooms were built at Mapati recreating the house Vinícius de Moraes lived in.
The stage play is based on the documented reports in the cinematographic work of Miguel Faria Jr. – “Vinicius”. Thus, the stories of the poet’s friends are reproduced in the voices of the actors, who invite the audience to feel as if they were friends of the artist.
