Ambassador of Romania, Mr. Stefan Mera and Ambassadress Ligia Mera
Dozens of people attended the Embassy of Romania on November 28 to celebrate that country’s National Day.
The Romanian ambassador, Mr. Stefan Mera, received greetings from the guests, who had fraternized in the embassy’s social halls and open air areas. Among the guests there were foreign ambassadors, Brazilian government authorities, politicians, businessmen and members of Brasilia’s society.

The anthems of Brazil, Romania, and the European Union were played, and then Ambassador Stefan Mera delivered a speech highlighting important historical moments of his country and the strong relations it has with Brazil.
Guests watched a video about Romania.
After the speech, everyone was invited to a dinner with typical Romanian cuisine.
The guests congratulated Ambassador Stefan Mera and other Romanian diplomats for the success of the important celebration.
