Dear friends of the Diplomatic Corps,
THE GUIDE (www.theguide.com.br) is celebrating fifteen years of operation in 2018, providing information in English on the cultural agenda of Brasilia and also on companies of various branches, as well as covering various social events of the embassies and international organizations in Brasília.
In this important year I am pleased to present the new format of our guide in the internet, with a more modern and complete information, not only about Brasilia, but soon also about other cities in Brazil, starting with Rio de Janeiro. We have also new formats of our Facebook and Instagram (theguidebr).
We are inaugurating our new office in QI 09 of Lago Sul in Brasília. We are in an accessible location with ample parking in the local commerce (next to supermarket OBA, the Marietta restaurant and the drugstore Rosário). Our new office is open from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through to Friday and we are open to receive the members of the embassies and international organizations.
Another novelty is that we will start providing new services aimed to better adapt the members of the international community to Brasilia. Among these new services, I highlight:
RELOCATION
THE GUIDE will welcome newcomers to Brasilia and help them get to know the city, choose the place to live, check the most appropriate school for their children, hire telephone and internet provider, among other services.
THE GUIDE SOCIAL CLUB
THE GUIDE is inaugurating a social club for social, tourism and sporting events, as well as providing administrative advisory services. We will assist members of the embassy community and international organizations in hiring and clarifying about various services.
REAL ESTATE
I am authorized by the Regional Council of Realtors – CRECI to offer selected properties to the embassy and international organizations community. By registering at CRECI, I am preparing contracts in English and Portuguese and will give all the advice for the leasing and administration of these properties. I would like to inform you that I already have a great 3 bedroom apartment at the address SQS 106. The property has high quality furniture and cabinets in the kitchen and bedrooms, as well as being on the 6th floor with an open view and close to the Cine Brasília, to the Clube Vizinhança, to local commerce and with proximity to the Eixão do Lazer.
LEGAL ADVICE
Along with associate lawyers, we are offering legal consultancy services to embassies and members of the foreign community. Doubts about labor law, civil law, real estate contracts, establishment of various contracts, among others, may be provided in English in our office.
SOCIAL MEDIA DEVELOPMENT
We have recently formed a business partnership with the MEKKALABS digital media agency and are able to develop projects for the wide dissemination of companies or countries through digital media such as Facebook and Instagram.
OTHER SERVICES
THE GUIDE is also developing partnerships in the production and export of minerals and soon we will offer other services of interest to the member countries of the international community.
