Brasília Jazz Meeting brings great names of jazz to Brasília in a weekend full of good music and surprising partnerships.

The program begins on Friday, March 9, with pianist Djordje Nesic (Serbia / USA) and soprano Diana Danieli (Brazil / USA). The evening also includes pianist André Dequech (Brazil / Canada) and renowned American musician William Galison, in the harmonica.

On Saturday, March 10, the guitar player Nelson Faria and his group Jazz Meeting Ensemble share the stage with special guests Gustavo Tavares (Brazil / Norway). The Ensemble consists of 12 musicians who will combine a mix of rhythms on the stage.

On Sunday, March 11, the performance of the Canadian group Quinteto de Montreal takes place at 7 pm. The metal quintet is formed by François d’AnjouPomerleau (first trumpet), Alexis Boulanger (tuba), ZacharieFournier Robert (trombone), Caroline Laroche (horn) and NawarHelala (second trumpet). The musical direction is by David Martin.
