On March 2nd, Casa Thomas Jefferson House presents the musical “Retalhos de mim … Tecidos de Nós (Pieces of me…Fabrics of Us).
Idealized at the School of Dance of the University of Goiás (UFG) the musical premieres in Brasília before going to São Paulo.
Dancers and musicians immerse themselves in the cultural heritage and habits lived by their ancestors. On scene, movements that reflect the customs of the average men and women, such as weaving, embroidering, caring for animals, participating in indigenous rituals and religious festivals: all these elements come together as patches and shape the spectacle.
