From Monday to Saturday, until Friday, March 6th, the Instituto Cervantes de Brasília, in Asa sul, will be holding an exhibition of novelist Benito Pérez Galdós’s works.
In homage to the centenary of the death of Benito Pérez Galdós (1843 – 1920), one of the greatest Spanish novelists of the 19th century, the Instituto Cervantes de Brasília, in Asa Sul, promotes the bibliographic exhibition of the author’s works present in the collection of the Ángel Crespo library. The exhibition is a partnership between the institution and the Embassy of Spain.
Under strict curation, forty-five volumes were selected from the author’s most representative works, among them, “La novelas de Torquemada” and “Marianela”. In his works, the author reflects all the Spanish life of the 19th century, in its civil and political aspects. Its production, with over 100 volumes, his work ranges from the least favored in Spain to the bourgeoisie and the nobility.

De segunda a sábado, até sexta-feira, 6 de março, o Instituto Cervantes de Brasília, na Asa sul, realizará uma exposição das obras do romancista Benito Pérez Galdós.
Em homenagem ao centenário da morte de Benito Pérez Galdós (1843 – 1920), um dos maiores romancistas espanhóis do século XIX, o Instituto Cervantes de Brasília, na Asa Sul, promove a exibição bibliográfica das obras do autor presentes no coleção da biblioteca Ángel Crespo. A exposição é uma parceria entre a instituição e a Embaixada da Espanha no Brasil.
Sob curadoria rigorosa, foram selecionados 45 volumes dentre as obras mais representativas do autor, entre elas, “La novelas de Torquemada” e “Marianela”. Em suas obras, o autor reflete toda a vida espanhola do século XIX, em seus aspectos civis e políticos. Sua produção, com mais de 100 volumes, seu trabalho varia dos menos favorecidos da Espanha à burguesia e nobreza.
