The art exhibition “A Beleza Sombria dos Montros: 10 Anos de A Arte de Tim Burton” (The Dark Beauty Of Monsters: 10 Years of The Art of Tim Burton) will be on display until August 11, Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, with free admission, at CCBB Brasília, in Setor de Clubes Esportivos Sul, Asa Sul.
Tim Burton is an American filmmaker, producer, screenwriter, writer, animator and draftsman. His films always feature gothic, fanciful, eccentric or somber aspects, famous for creating the character Edward Scissorhands.
In celebration of the 10-year publication of The Art of Tim Burton, the exhibition features the latest digital language technologies to recreate and expand the physical experience of the book for a visual autobiography of the author’s creations.
Featuring visual concepts of movies and hundreds of illustrations from the filmmaker’s personal archive, edited by him, the interactive environments will provide an incredible immersion of visitors on a journey through the unrivaled imagination of Burton.
The program includes a show featuring films directed by Tim Burton that will take place from July 4 to August 11, free of charge, in parallel with the CCBB film exhibition.
