The German Embassy in Brasilia will hold an Open Doors Day on the 4th of August with the theme Mobility, ‘Made in Germany’ – yesterday, today and tomorrow. The event will start at noon and entrance is free. In addition to the exhibition of vintage cars such as Porsche, Kombis, Fuscas, Variant and Opels, the public will be able to enjoy a showcase of new cars from Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen and test drive an electric bicycle from Bosch.

Local food trucks with German and Brazilian food, live music with Dj Cacai in his Kombi and the Orquestra dos Cavaquinhos from Vila Telebrasília, as well as booths with information on scholarships and Brazil / Germany cooperation, will be available on site.

Children can also have fun on the playground and watch the movie ‘Emil and the detectives’ which will be shown in our movie theater, with sessions at 2pm and 4pm.

Visitors can also take guided tours of the Embassy and the official residence.
