Ambassador of Turkey, Mr. Murat Yavuz Ateş and Colonel Ahmet Serdar Apaydin, Military Attaché at the Embassy of Turkey in Brazil.

 

The Embassy of Turkey celebrated Victory Day on August 30, when Ambassador Murat Yavuz Ateş and Colonel Ahmet Serdar Apaydin, military attaché of that embassy, received dozens of guests for a celebration dinner.

Brazilian military representatives and military attachés from many countries were at the event which was also attended by foreign ambassadors and diplomats, Brazilian government officials, businessmen and members of Brasilia society.

Dozens of guests were at the celebration.

Upon arrival, the guests watched a video explaining the Victory Day and showing the Turkish military might and the activities of the government and armed forces. Then, the Brazilian Army’s military band played the anthems of Brazil and Turkey.

Colonel Ahmet Serdar Apaydin delivered a speech highlighting Turkey’s military activities and its relations with the countries of the international community. The ambassador of Turkey, Mr. Murat Yavuz Ateş, also delivered a speech on the importance of the Turkish armed forces for the safety of his country as also for its economic and social stability.

Both speeches were widely applauded. Then all guests were invited to enjoy a dinner of typical Turkish dishes.

In a very fraternized environment, the ambassador of Turkey, Mr. Murat Yavuz Ateş and Colonel Ahmet Serdar Apaydin were greeted for the success of the beautiful event.
