UNICEF is the champion of the 1st THE GUIDE – BSBCOR Amateur Beach Volleyball Tournament!

UNICEF is the grand champion of the 1st THE GUIDE – BSBCOR Amateur Beach Volleyball Tournament, held at the ASCADE Club on Saturday, May 16th! The team won the title after an exciting match against the Iranian Embassy team, which presented itself as one of the powerhouses of beach volleyball in the embassy sector and finished as Runner-up. The “Fogo Alemão” (German Fire) team, from the German Embassy, ​​also showed strength and won third place after defeating the Russian Embassy team, another newcomer to the tournament, which arrives showing a technical game with great resistance, joy and unity. The Russian team received Top Four medals for being among the four powerhouses of beach volleyball in the Diplomatic Sector.

UNICEF arrived at the tournament determined to win everything there was to win. The team brought an organized fans group that included adults and children. The group shouted and sang non-stop and secured the TORCIDA ANIMADA (Most lively Crowd)  trophy! Congratulations, especially to the little fans, who among their war cries included the motivational phrase “Go, Mommy!” for a hardworking mother who was a player on the champion team. But the UNICEF cheering section didn’t win the TORCIDA ANIMADA trophy easily. The Russian Embassy presented itself at the championship not only with a strong team, but also with an organized cheering section that included dances with colorful decorations and lively motivational shouts in Russian, of course! The enthusiasm was also deserving of the TORCIDA ANIMADA trophy, and the tournament organizers decided that both teams would receive a trophy each. Congratulations also to the Russian team’s cheering section!  

 

The tournament took place in the beach volleyball areas of the ASCADE Club, and the teams arrived around 8 am. The games began, and the atmosphere of joy and camaraderie was constant throughout the sunny morning. The social area in front of the courts was filled with players and fans. The games had many exciting moments, with beautiful plays under the cheers of the crowds. The results led to the four finalist teams, and the final matches began after 11 am.  

 

Hospital Brasília provided a structure with a tent and relaxing massage services for everyone, as well as bottles of cold water, which pleased everyone as it reduced the morning heat. An ambulance was also offered for any possible medical emergency, which fortunately did not occur. The company Mundial Residence Moving Services brought souvenirs for the tournament participants. The company also participated in the games with a team. Another company that played in the tournament was BSBCOR, the tournament’s Master sponsor. Executive Emanuel Souza de Moraes, Manager of BSBCOR, along with his family, participated in the games for the second year, and everyone played with skill and joy. In fact, the participation of members of the same family on the teams has been a hallmark of the tournament, which further strengthens the event’s objectives as a promoter of camaraderie among the diplomatic corps community.  

 

After the first phase games, the final matches were decided in two exciting games: Fogo Alemão vs. Embassy of Russia competing for third place and UNICEF vs. Iran in search of the championship title. Both games were balanced in technique and effort. The Fogo Alemão team managed to win and took third place in the tournament, bringing another trophy to the German embassy. The Russian team received TOP FOUR medals for being among the four best beach volleyball teams in the diplomatic sector.  

 

The grand final brought together last year’s champion, UNICEF, against the team from the Iranian Embassy, ​​a new participant in the tournament that surprised everyone with a strong and technical team. The game was full of exciting plays, and both teams were ahead on the scoreboard at various points. The championship title was uncertain until the final minutes of the match. At that moment, the teamwork and resilience of the UNICEF team made the difference, and the team managed to gain a small advantage over the Iranian team, enough to close the game and win the title of champion of the 1st THE GUIDE – BSBCOR Amateur Beach Volleyball Tournament! Congratulations!!! 

 

The victory was UNICEF’s second consecutive title in THE GUIDE tournaments and the realization of the team’s reputation as a major beach volleyball power in the diplomatic sector. The Iranian team also received applause from the fans of all the teams because they showed strength, technique, and game spirit worthy of great praise. The players from both teams hugged and fraternized, showing the spirit of camaraderie of the tournament. THE GUIDE and BSBCOR congratulate the two finalist teams for the beautiful match and for the titles of Champion and Runner-up! 

 

After the final game, the teams went to the tournament’s social area to receive their trophies and medals. The president of THE GUIDE Business Consultancy, Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira, thanked everyone for their presence and also thanked the sponsors, who were responsible for the success of the event.  

The Russian Embassy team received TOP FOUR medals and also took home the TORCIDA ANIMADA trophy. Congratulations!!! Next, the Fogo Alemão team went up to the podium to receive the Third Place trophy, another title for the strong team led by German diplomat Nina Sartori. The team includes Nina’s two sons, Juri and Rio Sartori, among its players. The Fogo Alemão team is getting used to winning trophies in every beach voleyball tournament (last year they were runners-up)! Congratulations!!!!  

The team GERMAN FIRE, from the Embassy of Germany, won the Third Place in the tournament! Congratulations!

Next, Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira called the players from the Iranian Embassy team, led by the Embassy’s Cultural Attaché, Mr. Ali Reza Mirjalili, himself one of the team’s great players. The team received their medals, and Mr. Ali raised the runner-up trophy, which was celebrated enthusiastically by the players, who were participating in the tournament for the first time. It was undoubtedly a great result. Mr. Mirjalili thanked everyone on behalf of the team and congratulated THE GUIDE and BSBCOR for organizing the tournament. The team received a standing ovation. Congratulations!!!  

 

Finally, the time had come for the tournament’s grand champion, and the UNICEF team presented itself with a sense of mission accomplished. The team won the title with a technically skilled and hardworking group, driven by an enthusiastic crowd that this year included young fans to join in the chants of “WE ARE CHAMPIONS! WE ARE CHAMPIONS!” For their strong enthusiasm, the crowd also deserved the TORCIDA ANIMADA trophy! Congratulations!!! The team captain, Yuri dos Santos Silva, received the trophy from Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira and, together with the team players, let out a great victory cry: “É CAMPEÃO!  É CAMPEÃO! É UNICEF, É UNICEF! (We are Champions! We are UNICEF!) Congratulations!!! Everyone applauded the team that plays beautifully, is cheerful, and keeps the UNICEF name at the top!

A UNICEF é a campeã do 1º Torneio THE GUIDE – BSBCOR de Volei de Praia Amador!

A UNICEF é a grande campeã do 1º Torneio THE GUIDE – BSBCOR de Volei de Praia Amador, ocorrido no Clube ASCADE no sábado, 16 de maio!  A equipe conquistou o título após uma emocionante partida contra a equipe da Embaixada do Irã, a qual se apresentou como uma das potências do vôlei de praia no setor de embaixadas e ficou com o vice-campeonato. O time Fogo Alemão, da Embaixada da Alemanha, também mostrou força e conquistou o terceiro lugar após vencer a equipe da Embaixada da Rússia, outra equipe novata no torneio e que chega mostrando um jogo técnico e com muita resistência, alegria e unidade. O time russo recebeu medalhas Top Four por estar entre as quatro potências do vôlei de praia no Setor Diplomático.

A UNICEF veio para o torneio decidida a vencer tudo o que havia para ser vencido. A equipe trouxe uma torcida organizada que incluía adultos e crianças. O grupo gritou e cantou sem parar e garantiu o troféu TORCIDA ANIMADA! Parabéns, principalmente aos pequenos torcedores, o qual entre os gritos de guerra estava a frase motivacional “Vai, mamãe!” para uma esforçada mãe jogadora do time campeão.

Mas a torcida da UNICEF não conquistou o troféu TORCIDA ANIMADA facilmente. A Embaixada da Rússia se apresentou no campeonato não só com um time forte, mas também com uma torcida organizada que incluiu danças com enfeites coloridos e animados gritos motivacionais em russo, é claro! A animação foi também merecedora do troféu TORCIDA ANIMADA e a organização do torneio decidiu que os dois times receberiam um troféu cada um. Parabéns também para a torcida do time russo!

O torneio aconteceu nas áreas de vôlei de praia do Clube ASCADE e os times chegaram por volta das 8 horas. Os jogos tiveram início e o clima de alegria e confraternização foi constante durante toda a ensolarada manhã. A área social em frente às quadras foi tomada de jogadores e torcedores. Os jogos tiveram muitos momentos emocionantes, com belas jogadas sob os gritos das torcidas. Os resultados foram conduzindo as quatro equipes finalistas e os confrontos finais tiveram início após as 11 da manhã.

O Hospital Brasília trouxe uma estrutura com tenda e serviços de massagens relaxantes para todos, além de garrafinhas de água gelada que agradou a todos, pois reduziu o calor da manhã. Uma ambulância também foi oferecida para alguma possível emergência médica, o que felizmente não ocorreu.A empresa Mundial Residence Mudanças levou brindes para os participantes do torneio. A empresa também participou dos jogos com um time. Outra empresa que jogou no torneio foi a BSBCOR, patrocinadora Master do torneio. O executivo Emanuel Souza de Moraes, Gerente da BSBCOR, juntamente com sua família, participou dos jogos pelo segundo ano e todos jogaram com técnica e alegria. Aliás, as participações de membros da mesma família nos times têm sido uma marca do torneio, o que fortalece ainda mais os objetivos do evento como promotor de confraternização entre a comunidade do corpo diplomático.

Após os jogos da primeira fase, os confrontos finais foram decididos em dois emocionantes jogos: Fogo Alemão x Embaixada da Rússia disputando o terceiro lugar e UNICEF x Irã em busca do título de campeão.  Os dois jogos foram equilibrados em técnica e esforço. O time Fogo Alemão conseguiu a vitória e conquistou o terceiro lugar no torneio, levando mais um troféu para a embaixada da Alemanha. O time russo recebeu medalhas TOP FOUR por estar entre os quatro melhores times de vôlei de praia no setor diplomático.

A grande final reuniu o campeão do ano passado, UNICEF, contra a equipe da Embaixada do Irã, um novo participante do torneio e que surpreendeu a todos com um time forte e técnico. O jogo foi cheio de lances emocionantes e os dois times estiveram à frente do placar por vários momentos. O título de campeão esteve incerto até os minutos finais do confronto. Naquele momento, o jogo de equipe e a resistência do time da UNICEF fez a diferença e o time conseguiu uma pequena vantagem sobre o time iraniano, suficiente para fechar o jogo e conquistar o título de grande campeão do 1º Torneio THE GUIDE – BSBCOR de Volei de Praia Amador! Parabéns!!!

Foi o segundo título seguido da UNICEF nos torneios do THE GUIDE e a concretização da fama de grande potência do vôlei de praia no setor diplomático. O time do Irã também recebeu os aplausos da torcida de todos os times pois mostrou uma força, técnica e espírito de jogo dignos de grandes elogios. Os jogadores dos dois times se abraçaram e se confraternizaram, mostrando o espírito de confraternização do torneio.

O THE GUIDE e a BSBCOR parabeniza os dois times finalistas, UNICEF e Embaixada do Irã, pela bela partida e pelos títulos de Campeão e Vice-campeão! 

Após o jogo final, as equipes foram para a área social do torneio para receberem os troféus e medalhas. O presidente do THE GUIDE Business Consultancy agradeceu a presença de todos e também agradeceu aos patrocinadores, responsáveis pelo sucesso do evento.

O time da Embaixada da Rússia recebeu medalhas TOP FOUR e também levou o troféu TORCIDA ANIMADA. Parabéns!!! Em seguida, o time Fogo Alemão subiu ao pódio para receber o troféu de Terceiro Lugar. Mais um título para o forte time liderado pela diplomata alemã Nina Sartori. O time tem entre os jogadores os dois filhos de Nina, Juri e Rio Sartori . O time Fogo Alemão está se acostumando a conquistar taças em todo torneio (no ano passado foram vice-campeões)! Parabéns!!!!

Em seguida, o senhor Pedro Paulo Moreira chamou os jogadores do time da Embaixada do Irã, liderados pelo Adido Cultural da embaixada, Sr. Ali Reza Mirjalili, ele mesmo um dos grandes jogadores do time. A equipe recebeu as medalhas e o Sr. Ali levantou a taça de Vice-campeão, muito celebrada pelos jogadores do time, os quais se apresentaram no torneio pela primeira vez. Foi sem dúvida, um ótimo resultado. O Sr. Ali agradeceu em nome de todos e parabenizou o THE GUIDE e a BSBCOR pela iniciativa de realização do torneio. O time foi muito aplaudido por todos. Parabéns!!!

Finalmente era chegada a hora do grande campeão do torneio e o time da UNICEF se apresentou com a sensação de missão cumprida. O time conquistou o título com uma equipe de jogo técnico e esforçado, movido por uma animada torcida que este ano levou torcedores mirins para engrossar os gritos de É CAMPEÃO!  É CAMPEÃO!  Pela forte animação, a torcida também mereceu o troféu TORCIDA ANIMADA! Parabéns!!!

O capitão do time, Yuri dos Santos Silva, recebeu a taça das mãos do Sr. Pedro Paulo Moreira e juntamente com os jogadores do time soltou o grande grito da vitória: “É CAMPEÃO!!!  É UNICEF, É UNICEF!!!”  Parabéns!!! Todos aplaudiram o time que joga bonito, é alegre e mantém o nome UNICEF no topo!
