THE GUIDE creates cultural group with embassies

THE GUIDE welcomed representatives from the cultural area of ​​several embassies for a dinner meeting on the evening of February 12. The meeting took place at Churrascaria Nativas, located in the Vila Planalto neighborhood, near the North Embassy Sector.

THE GUIDE‘s CEO, Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira, together with executives Allan Ferreira Costa and Gabriel Maciel, welcomed representatives from the embassies of Switzerland, Barbados, Haiti, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Palestine, Honduras, Rwanda, Georgia, Democratic Republic of Congo, North Macedonia, Botswana and Iran. Everyone got together in the private hall at Churrascaria Nativas, a space reserved for the meeting. The event was supported by the moving company Mundial Residence and also by the mosaicist Cida Carvalho.

After the cultural representatives arrived, Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira thanked everyone for their presence and began a presentation of THE GUIDE and its projects to bring information about the countries directly to the more than 5,500 Brazilian municipalities.

He emphasized that THE GUIDE was created 21 years ago with the main objective of presenting – in English – cultural events in Brasília to the foreign community of embassies and international organizations. Today, the company also operates in areas such as law, defense and foreign trade, in addition to creating an information source for Brazil and other Latin American countries about the countries represented in Brasília.

Mr. Moreira said that it was important to create a group to promote the culture of the foreign countries represented in Brasília to the population of Brasília, especially to the communities of satellite cities, which have greater difficulty in approaching the embassies.

Those present received a questionnaire to identify the main interests of the group as a whole. Several cultural and leisure activities were chosen and suggestions for interesting cultural events were welcomed, including craft exhibitions, culinary events, visits to embassies and poetry readings.

The guests approved the creation of THE GUIDE Group for Culture and agreed to hold monthly meetings to organize the activities. After the deliberations, dinner began and the guests enjoyed the huge buffet and barbecue buffet offered by Churrascaria Nativas.

The celebration continued throughout the dinner and many ideas for cultural activities emerged during the conversations.

Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira and other members of THE GUIDE‘s team were congratulated by the cultural representatives for their initiative in forming the group.

THE GUIDE cria grupo cultural com embaixadas

O THE GUIDE recebeu representantes da área cultural de várias embaixadas para uma reunião com jantar na noite de 12 de fevereiro. O encontro aconteceu na Churrascaria Nativas, localizada no bairro Vila Planalto, próximo ao Setor de Embaixadas Norte.

O Diretor Presidente do THE GUIDE, Sr. Pedro Paulo Moreira, juntamente com os executivos Allan Ferreira Costa e Gabriel Maciel, receberam representantes das embaixadas da Suiça, Barbados, Haiti, Turquia, Cazaquistão, Nepal, Palestina, Honduras, Ruanda, Geórgia, República Democrática do Congo, Macedônia do Norte, Botsuana e Irã. Todos se confraternizaram no salão privativo da Churrascaria Nativas, espaço reservado para o encontro. O evento teve o apoio da empresa de mudanças Mundial Residence e também da artista plástica Cida Carvalho.

Após a chegada dos representantes da área cultural, o Sr. Pedro Paulo Moreira agradeceu a presença de todos e iniciou uma apresentação da empresa THE GUIDE e de seus projetos para levar a informação sobre os países diretamente para os mais de 5500 municípios brasileiros. Ele ressaltou que a empresa THE GUIDE foi criada há 21 anos com o objetivo principal de apresentar – em inglês – os eventos culturais em Brasília para a comunidade de estrangeiros das embaixadas e organismos internacionais. Hoje a empresa atua também em áreas como advocacia, defesa e comércio exterior, além de criar uma central de informações sobre os países representados em Brasília para o Brasil e demais países da América Latina.

O Sr. Moreira disse ser importante a criação de um grupo divulgador da cultura dos países estrangeiros representados em Brasília para a população de Brasília, principalmente para as comunidades das cidades satélites, com maiores dificuldades de aproximação com as embaixadas.

Os presentes receberam um questionário para se identificar os maiores interesses do grupo como um todo. Foram escolhidas várias atividades culturais e de lazer e acolhidas sugestões de interessantes eventos culturais, entre eles exposições de artesanato, eventos culinários, visitações a embaixadas e saraus de poesia.

Os convidados aprovaram a criação do Grupo THE GUIDE para a Cultura e combinaram a organização de reuniões mensais para organização das atividades.

Após as deliberações, o jantar teve início e os convidados desfrutaram do enorme buffet e rodízio de churrasco oferecidos pela Churrascaria Nativas. A confraternização continuou durante o jantar e muitas ideias de atividades culturais foram surgindo durante as conversas.

O Sr. Pedro Paulo Moreira e demais membros da equipe do THE GUIDE receberam os cumprimentos dos representantes culturais pela iniciativa de formação do grupo.
