The Karate Kid franchise returns to the big screen with Karate Kid: Legends, set to premiere in Brazilian theaters on May 30, 2025. Directed by Jonathan Entwistle and written by Rob Lieber, the film brings together iconic figures from the saga, such as Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio, and introduces a new generation of martial artists.
Synopsis
After a family tragedy, kung fu prodigy Li Fong, played by Ben Wang, moves from Beijing to New York with his mother. There, he faces challenges adapting to his new life and classmates. When a friend needs help, Li decides to enter a karate competition but realizes that his kung fu skills are not enough. It is then that Master Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) and veteran Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) join forces to train Li, combining kung fu and karate styles in a journey of self-discovery and overcoming personal challenges.
The film will be shown in Brazilian cinemas with subtitles and dubbed versions.

Sinopse
