Semana da Francofonia (The Francophone Week) will once again change de accent of Brasília. The Festival of the Francophonie, in its 21st edition, takes place between the March 18 and 31 and brings a program thought by the 50 embassies that compose the group of the Francophone in Brasilia.

 

Brasília will live a very French environment with concerts, debates, poetry readings and a film festival. One of the highlights of the festival is French singer Mathieu Boogaerts. On the road for over two decades, Mathieu Boogaerts is a tireless creator, a master in poetry and a fervent musician. Singer with discreet charisma and good humor, he always approaches the subtleties of life.

 

French theater company Mangano-Massip is also a must-see event. The theater group will present the fascinating universe of the mime theater. Since 2010, its shows have been traveling in many countries: China, the United States, Kosovo, Poland, Iran, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, England, Israel, Chile, Singapore, Puerto Rico, Montenegro and now Brazil.
