The Tunisian ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Mohamed Hedi Soltani, received dozens of guests on March 19 for the celebration of his country’s National Day. The event took place at the official residence, located in the Lago Sul district of Brasília.

The residence was specially decorated and the guests congregated in social halls and open air areas, where a screen was installed to display images of that beautiful country.

Foreign ambassadors, Brazilian government officials, diplomats, businessmen and members of the Brasilia society were among the guests, in a mood of great fraternization.

The hymns of Brazil and Tunisia were played and then Ambassador Soltani gave a speech highlighting the relations between his country and Brazil. Everyone applauded the beautiful words of the ambassador and then a dinner with typical dishes of Tunisia was started.

Ambassador Mohamed Hedi Soltani and other diplomats of Tunisia received greetings from everyone for the success of the lively celebration.

Ambassador Soltani has been carrying out various actions for the growth of relations between Tunisia and Brazil. One of them was the organization in the month of December of a tasting event of products produced in Tunisia. Several journalists attended the gastronomic event and confirmed the high quality of the Tunisian products, congratulating the ambassador for the important initiative.
