Ambassador of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Ristic
Serbia’s National Day was celebrated in the early afternoon of February 22nd, when the new Serbian ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Aleksandar Ristic, received dozens of guests for a lunch held at the embassy located in the South Embassy Sector of Brasilia.

Brazilian government authorities, foreign ambassadors, diplomats, journalists, businesspeople and personalities from the Brazilian government attended the event and congratulated the Serbian ambassador and other diplomats at the embassy.
Guests were welcomed in the social halls and balconies of the embassy, one of the first to be built in Brasilia. After everyone arrived, the Brasília Military Fire Brigade band played the anthems of Serbia and Brazil.
Afterwards, the ambassador of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Ristic, gave a welcome speech to everyone and said he was happy to arrive in Brazil in time to celebrate his country’s national day in his new post. The ambassador highlighted the important friendship that his country has with Brazil and said that much will be done for the continued growth of relations between Serbia and Brazil. He was greatly applauded by everyone.
A toast was made in honor of Serbia’s National Day and its friendship with Brazil.
Guests were invited to go to one of the embassy halls, where a lunch with typical Serbian food was served.
The guests got together in that beautiful afternoon and congratulated ambassador Aleksandar Ristic and counselor Jelena Blazevic on the beautiful celebration.
