The Embassy of Turkey received guests for the celebration of Democracy and National Unit Day of Turkey. The event took place in the early afternoon of July 15th, at the official residence, located in the “Setor de Embaixadas Sul” (South Embassy Sector) of Brasília.
The Ambassador of Turkey, Mr. Murat Yavuz Ates, along with other diplomats and attachés from that country, welcomed the guests, including Brazilian government officials, foreign diplomats, journalists and businessmen.

After everyone arrived, Ambassador Murat Yavuz delivered a speech highlighting the good relations with Brazil and the importance of celebrating the Democracy and National Unit Day of Turkey, recalling that country’s struggle for the maintenance of its democratic order, also demonstrated through a video shown at the ceremony.
After the speech, the ambassador invited everyone to enjoy the cuisine of his beautiful country. All guests got together and congratulated the ambassador and other embassy members for the success of the event.
