The ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council, formed by the countries Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, welcomed guests on March 12, 2024 to celebrate Ramadan Iftar.
The event took place in a large event place in the Lago Sul neighborhood in Brasília and was attended by hundreds of people.
Brazilian government authorities, foreign ambassadors, diplomats, journalists, businesspeople, intellectuals and personalities from Brasília society attended the important event.
The social rooms were beautifully decorated and after the arrival of the guests, everyone was taken to the dining room, where the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, H.E. Mr. Mauro Vieira, representing President Luis Inácio Lula da Silva, gave a speech congratulating everyone for the celebration and highlighting Brazil’s friendship with the Gulf nations.
The Minister also expressed Brazil’s position regarding the constant search for peace and respect among all nations.
A dinner with Arabic and Brazilian cuisine was served to everyone, who gathered together in a very happy atmosphere. The host ambassadors received congratulations for the success of the beautiful event.
