Brasília Symphonic Orchestra is back to the stage of Cine Brasília to present a new concert this Tuesday, March 27.
Led by maestro Claudio Cohen, the piece chosen is Symphony No. 5, by the Czech-Austrian maestro Gustav Mahler. Composed in the summers of 1901 and 1902, the symphony represented a completely new style of what was produced by Mahler.
Gustav Mahler wrote symphonies that absorbed into their texture and form the tradition of German song in music that reflected in many ways the spirit of the time in which he lived, in all its variety.
