The 2018 edition of Festival do Japão Brasília (Japan Festival) is one the highlights of the cultural life of the city this May. In three days, the festival presents musical shows, martial arts, exhibitions, workshops, Japanese gastronomy and entertainment.

The festival brings together several Japanese-Brazilian entities from the region in a unique and great event, having an important role for the preservation and dissemination of Japanese culture for future generations of Japanese-Brazilians.

In 2016, Festival do Japão Brasília (Japan Festival), the largest and most representative local event on Japanese culture, was included in the Official Events Calendar of Brasília.

The event is hosted by FEANBRA – Federation of Japanese-Brazilian Associations of the Centro-Oeste, a private non-profit organization created in 1976 by the Japanese-Brazilian associations of Brasília, with the mission of promoting social activities among its affiliates.
