Starting on March 27, Caixa Cultural presents the exhibition Cadernos de Desenho (Drawing notebook), by Sergio Rizo.
Rizo is an artist, teacher and scholar of the human anatomy, of the expressions of the moving body and the historical reception in contemporary arts.
The free event brings together various studies that reveal the artist’s work process. From the human anatomy to the winged characters of the series ‘City of Angels’, the draws are presented in different formats.
During the exhibition, guided tours will be held with the artist and curator Oto Reifschneider, as well as a practical anatomy study class with Sergio Rizo. There will also be a small atelier, in which visitors check out the drawings and interact by drawing their own model.
