The Embassy of Kuwait welcomed hundred of guests in a beautiful dinner on the evening of February 21, held at Hípica Hall, an event venue located in Setor Hípico, in Brasilia.
The beautiful event celebrated the 56th National Date and 26th Day of the Liberation of the State of Kuwait. Ambassador Ayadah M. Alsaidi and other diplomats and attachés of the Kuwaiti embassy received greetings from the guests, among them foreign ambassadors, diplomats, Brazilian government officials, politicians, entrepreneurs, intellectuals and personalities of the society of Brasilia and the community of Kuwait in Brazil.
The guests were directed to the social and dining halls of Hípica Hall. An exhibition of banners with information about Kuwait was presented to the public. The guests also enjoyed a lovely environment based on the culture of that beautiful country.
The dining room was beautifully decorated and the guests congregated in that memorable setting. After the arrival of all, the anthems of Brazil and Kuwait were played by the firemen band of Distrito Federal. Then the ambassador of Kuwait, Mr. Ayadah M. Alsaidi, gave a welcome speech, much applauded by all.
After the speech, a beautiful cake decorated with the flags of Brazil and Kuwait was presented, symbolizing the strong union between the countries.
Then the ambassador of Kuwait, Mr. Ayadah M. Alsaidi, invited everyone to taste the special dinner, served with dishes from Brazil and Kuwait. The gastronomic attraction was animated with Kuwait’s typical songs, played by a talented musical group.
The guests congratulated the ambassador Ayadah M. Alsaidi and other members of the Kuwaiti embassy for the beautiful event of celebration and fraternization. At the end of the event, the guests received commemorative pins celebrating the union between Brazil and Kuwait.
