Chilean writers have their works published in Brazil
Chilean writers Maria José Ferrada and Alia Trabuco Zerán have just been published in Brazil by Editora Moinhos from the city of Belo Horizonte, in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. Thanks to the Translation Support Program of the Cultural Affairs Division (DIRAC) of the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in coordination with the Chilean Embassy in Brazil (Contact Cristian Oschilewski, Cultural Attaché).
The novels “KRAMP” and “A SUBTRAÇÃO” were translated into Portuguese and are already available in Brazil, in the main bookstores in the country and in digital format. Together with Lina Meruane and Gonzalo Rojas, authors who were published in Brazil in 2019 and 2018, respectively, these two works represent the great interest that Chilean literature awakens in Brazil and opens new possibilities for Brazilian publishers to work with important Chilean authors, increasing exchange and interest in narratives.

Embaixada do Chile informa: Escritores chilenos têm suas obras publicadas no Brasil
Os escritores chilenos Maria José Ferrada e Alia Trabuco Zerán acabam de ter suas obras publicadas no Brasil pela Editora Moinhos de Belo Horizonte, no estado de Minas Gerais. Agradecemos ao Programa de Apoio à Tradução da Divisão de Assuntos Culturais (DIRAC) do Ministério das Relações Exteriores do Chile e em coordenação com a Embaixada do Chile no Brasil (contato Cristian Oschilewski, Adido Cultural).
Os romances “KRAMP” e “A SUBTRAÇÃO” foram traduzidos para o português e já estão disponíveis no Brasil, nas principais livrarias do país e em formato digital. Junto com Lina Meruane e Gonzalo Rojas, autores que foram publicados no Brasil em 2019 e 2018, respectivamente, essas duas obras representam o grande interesse que a literatura chilena desperta no Brasil e abre novas possibilidades para as editoras brasileiras trabalharem com importantes autores chilenos, aumentando o intercâmbio e interesse por narrativas.
