From April 24 to 27, 2025, members of the Secretariat of Defense Products participated in the X International Exhibition of Technology for the Defense and Prevention of Disasters – SITDEF PERU 2025, held in Lima, Peru. The event is one of the most important in the sector in Latin America. During the fair, SEPROD representatives participated in bilateral meetings with Peruvian authorities and companies interested in operating in the Brazilian market, with the aim of presenting the capabilities of Brazil’s Defense Industrial Base (BID). The participation of the Ministry of Defense in the event reinforces the commitment to the international promotion of the BID, contributing to attracting investments, generating jobs and strengthening international relations. The Brazilian presence at SITDEF also expands business opportunities and technological innovation, with positive impacts for the economy and society as a whole. 

According to the Director of the Commercial Promotion Department, Rear Admiral Neyder Camillo De Barros, “Being present at SITDEF 2025 was an interesting and relevant experience, allowing us to reaffirm the importance of the fair as a strategic space for the promotion of Defense Products and for strengthening partnerships”.

Entre os dias 24 e 27 de abril de 2025, integrantes da Secretaria de Produtos de Defesa participaram da X International Exhibition of Technology for the Defense and Prevention of Disasters – SITDEF PERU 2025, realizada em Lima, Peru. O evento é um dos mais relevantes do setor na América Latina. Durante a feira, os representantes da SEPROD participaram de reuniões bilaterais com autoridades peruanas e empresas interessadas em atuar no mercado brasileiro, com o objetivo de apresentar as capacidades da Base Industrial de Defesa (BID) do Brasil. A participação do Ministério da Defesa no evento reforça o comprometimento com a promoção internacional da BID, contribuindo para a atração de investimentos, a geração de empregos e o fortalecimento das relações internacionais. A presença brasileira na SITDEF também amplia as oportunidades de negócios e inovação tecnológica, com impactos positivos para a economia e a sociedade como um todo. 

Segundo o Diretor do Departamento de Promoção Comercial, Contra-Almirante Neyder Camillo De Barros, “Estar presente na SITDEF 2025 foi uma experiência interessante e relevante, permitindo reafirmar a importância da feira como espaço estratégico para a promoção de Produtos de Defesa e para o fortalecimento de parcerias”.
