O nome “axé” vem de uma saudação de origem iorubá que significa “alma” ou “energia positiva” e é exatamente isso que o gênero transmite: música para dançar, cantar junto e sentir com o corpo todo. Diferente de estilos mais introspectivos, o axé nasceu para as ruas é movimento, coletividade e celebração pura.
