The final match was against the strong team from the British Embassy, another football powerhouse in the Embassy Sector. The NEPAL & Amigos team surprised their opponents and, with strength and quality, took 3rd place against the French Embassy, another team that presented itself at the tournament as one of the football forces in the sector and received “Top Four” medals for being among the four finalists in the tournament.

Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira, President Director of THE GUIDE Business Consultancy and Ms. Luciana Peixoto Braga, CEO of Mundial Residence, organized the Tournament.
The final matches took place on the morning of Saturday, August 30, at ARENA (South Club Sector) and began with a competition between eight teams: Mexico, United Kingdom, Nepal & Friends, France, Defense Attachés, Korea, GIZ, and UNICEF. This year’s tournament saw a tie for top scorers, with strikers from Mexico (Joelson Cruz e Jesus) and the United Kingdom (Lucas Real) each scoring the same number of 10 goals. THE GUIDE and MUNDIAL RESIDENCE had to raffled off the trophy at the awards ceremony, and the UK striker was the winner. His team was thrilled with their player’s talent and luck! THE GUIDE and MUNDIAL RESIDENCE decided to purchase another trophy to honor the Mexican Embassy striker, who, in addition to scoring the same number of goals as the UK Embassy striker, was largely responsible for his team’s championship title.

Strikers from Mexico and United Kingdom teams were tournament’s top scorers and won the “Golden Boot” trophy.
The Nepalese and French Embassies also deserve special mention, as they, along with the Mexican Embassy team, were competing in the tournament for the first time and are already among the top four teams in the Embassy Sector. Nepal fielded a team featuring players from the embassies of Nepal, Germany, and the Netherlands, forming a surprising team with a fast attack and diverse talents. Meanwhile, the French embassy team presented a dangerous attacking team with strong organization, the result of training and discipline. The French embassy team received TOP FOUR medals, and the NEPAL & Friends team received medals and a 3rd-place trophy.
The tournament rules introduced new features, such as a victory bonus for teams that tied and had a female player for an entire half against a team that did not have a female player playing the same style. The final even featured female players on both teams.
During the awards ceremony, the President Director of THE GUIDE Business Consultancy, Mr. Pedro Paulo Moreira, thanked the sponsors for their support of the event, especially MUNDIAL RESIDENCE – International and National Removals and Logistics, a partner company that was also a major supporter of the 2024 football tournament.

The finalist teams were then announced, and the UK Embassy team confirmed its favoritism as one of the strongest teams in the Embassies and International Organizations Sector. The team won the 2024 tournament and nearly achieved a second consecutive title. They finished runner-up in 2025. The new rules will also require a minimum number of foreign players per team on the field.
The management of the 2nd THE GUIDE / MUNDIAL RESIDENCE Amateur Football Tournament thanks everyone for participating and supporting the event. Next year, we plan to hold two tournaments with more teams, as this year, unfortunately, some embassies and international organizations were unable to organize their teams in time to register for the tournament. VIVA MÉXICO!!! A Embaixada do México é a grande campeã do 2º Torneio de Futebol Amador THE GUIDE / MUNDIAL RESIDENCE!!!
O THE GUIDE agradece a esses times pela participação no torneio!
A embaixadora do Reino Unido, Sra.
O THE GUIDE e a MUNDIAL RESIDENCE sortearam o troféu no momento da premiação e o atacante do time do Reino Unido foi o sorteado.
