As of Thursday, October 1st, the lookout point at the Torre de TV (TV tower) and the Brasilia zoo are once again open for the public.
The closing of the lookout point at the Torre de TV is not due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as a matter of fact, it has been undergoing renovations for about three years and now it is finally able to operate as normal, now under the management of the Bank of Brasilia (BRB). With part of the renovations completed, the tower reopened on October 1st. Visitation is from 12 pm to 6 pm, between Thursday and Sunday. 12 people at a time will be able to climb to the lookout, respecting the safety protocols to avoid the new coronavirus. Visitors will also have access to the space’s bistro. The second phase of improvements to the lookout spot, including a brand-new digital museum, is scheduled for completion in April 2021.
Another leisure point reopened is the Jardim Zoologico de Brasília (City Zoo). Decree No. 41,260, published in the Official Gazette of the Distrito Federal on Wednesday (September 30), allows the public to return to the place, provided that several safety measures are taken. The operation of the Zoo, however, will occur to a limited extent. It may open from Thursday to Sunday, in addition to holidays, from 9 am to 5 pm. The occupancy will be restricted to 1,500 people, or half of the normal capacity.

A partir de quinta-feira, 1 de outubro, o mirante da Torre de TV e o zoológico de Brasília voltam a ficar abertos à visitação do público.
O encerramento do miradouro da Torre de TV não se deve à pandemia Covid-19, aliás, está a ser remodelado há cerca de três anos e agora está finalmente em condições de funcionar normalmente, agora ao abrigo do gestão do Banco de Brasília (BRB). Com parte das reformas concluídas, a torre reabre ao público na quinta-feira (1º de outubro). Das 12h às 18h, entre quinta e domingo, 12 pessoas por vez poderão subir até o mirante, respeitando os protocolos de segurança para evitar o novo coronavírus. Os visitantes também terão acesso ao bistrô do espaço. A segunda fase de melhorias no mirante, incluindo um museu digital totalmente novo, está prevista para ser concluída em abril de 2021.
Outro ponto de lazer reaberto é o Jardim Zoológico de Brasília. O Decreto nº 41.260, publicado no Diário Oficial do Distrito Federal nesta quarta-feira (30 de setembro), permite o retorno da população ao local, desde que diversas medidas de segurança sejam tomadas. A operação do Zoo, no entanto, ocorrerá de forma limitada. Pode funcionar de quinta a domingo, além dos feriados, das 9h às 17h. A ocupação ficará restrita a 1.500 pessoas, ou metade da capacidade normal.
