The 2018 theater season at Brasília Shopping starts with “Gandhi – Seja a mudança que você quer ver no mundo” (Be the change you want to see in the world).
On stage, actors Sergio Lelys, Patrícia Naves and Luis Doffá deliver humor, lyricism and drama, creating a striking setting in which Gandhi’s wisdom, dignity and honesty are presented from the standpoint of Kasturbai Gandhi, wife of the spiritual leader. The stage play is in Brasilia for s very short season, on February 3 and 4.
Kasturbai Gandhi challenges the audience to reflect on the importance of cultivating a feeling of tolerance, love and non-violence to face the transformations of the society.
“Gandhi – Seja a mudança que você quer ver no mundo” (Be the change you want to see in the world) premiered in São Paulo last December, and it is already a great success on its national tour.
