The Catetinho Museum is currently holding an online art exhibit that pays homage to the architectural projects of Mr. Oscar Niemeyer called “Pensando Oscarmente” (Which can be roughly translated to Thinking like Oscar). The exhibition will happen from Monday, September 14th, to Wednesday, September 30th, and art workshops will be provided.

The public can check the exhibition “Pensando Oscarmente” by the master artisan and artist, Paulo Ataíde Cavalcanti, on a virtual tour of the Catetinho Museum, Brasília’s first presidential residence. Five training workshops on cultural management will also be offered by the project, which celebrates the decade of the 60s in Brasilia and the architecture of Oscar Niemeyer.

The initiative, presented by the Agenda Cultural Brasília, also takes place during the activities of the “Setembro Cívico – Juscelino para Sempre” (Civic September – Juscelino forever), which marks Juscelino Kubitschek’s birthday, celebrated on September 12, in celebration of the ex-president and founder of Brasília.

Through the exhibit’s website, the public can access the works of Paulo Ataíde created with the technique of Eco-Art. In his work, he explores the traces of Niemeyer’s architecture from organic and recyclable raw materials, such as reused cardboard and stalks from the Buriti tree. The texts that accompany the works are by journalist Leonardo Feijão. The exhibit is seen through a 3D model recreation of the Catetinho Museum.

The project also offers, from September 14 to 30, five training workshops for managers, producers, artists and technicians of the local artistic and cultural scene. The meetings will be held virtually, through the Zoom application. Registration is free and can be done using the form available on the project website.

The project will offer five workshops of four hours each and they are: creative elaboration and management and accountability for cultural projects; Cultural production of small and large projects; Press and communication handling for cultural projects; Accessibility in cultural projects.

O Museu do Catetinho está atualmente fazendo uma mostra online de arte que homenageia os projetos arquitetônicos de Oscar Niemeyer, entitulada “Pensando Oscarmente”. E de segunda-feira, 14 de setembro, a quarta-feira, 30 de setembro, serão realizadas diversas oficinas de arte.


O público pode conferir a exposição “Pensando Oscarmente” do mestre artesão e artista plástico Paulo Ataíde Cavalcanti, em um tour virtual pelo Museu do Catetinho, primeira residência presidencial de Brasília. Cinco oficinas de formação em gestão cultural também serão oferecidas pelo projeto, que comemora a década de 60 em Brasília e a arquitetura de Oscar Niemeyer.


A iniciativa, apresentada pela Agenda Cultural Brasília, também acontece durante as atividades do “Setembro Cívico – Juscelino para Sempre”, que marca o aniversário de Juscelino Kubitschek, comemorado no dia 12 de setembro, em comemoração ao ex -presidente e fundador de Brasília.


Por meio do site da mostra, o público pode acessar as obras de Paulo Ataíde criadas com a técnica da EcoArte. Em seu trabalho, ele explora os vestígios da arquitetura de Niemeyer a partir de matérias-primas orgânicas e recicláveis, como papelão reaproveitado e talos de buriti. Os textos que acompanham as obras são do jornalista Leonardo Feijão. A mostra é vista por meio de uma recriação 3D do Museu do Catetinho.


O projeto também oferece, de 14 a 30 de setembro, cinco oficinas de formação para gestores, produtores, artistas e técnicos da cena artística e cultural local. As reuniões serão realizadas virtualmente, por meio do aplicativo Zoom. As inscrições são gratuitas e podem ser feitas por meio do formulário disponível no site do projeto.


O projeto oferecerá cinco oficinas de quatro horas cada e são elas: elaboração e gestão criativa e prestação de contas de projetos culturais; Produção cultural de pequenos e grandes projetos; Assessoria de imprensa e comunicação para projetos culturais; Acessibilidade em projetos culturais.
