The Iranian Ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Hossein Gharibi, received dozens of guests at the Clube Naval de Brasília (Navy Club) on the evening of February 7th for the celebration of the National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Hundreds of guests attended the celebration and greeted Ambassador Hossein Gharibi and the Defense Attaché of Iran, Colonel Mahdi Moghaddam. Among the guests there were Brazilian government officials, politicians, businesspeople, foreign ambassadors and defense attachés, as well as journalists and personalities from Brazilian society.

The club’s social halls displayed art objects from that important Middle Eastern country. A large screen also showed beautiful images of Iran.

Ambassador of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Ristic, recently arrived in Brazil.
After the guests arrived, the anthems of Brazil and Iran were played.
Afterwards, Iran’s ambassador, Mr. Hossein Gharibi, gave a welcome speech and highlighted the growing relations between Iran and Brazil. Everyone watched a video about the various bilateral events in which the ambassador participated in Brazil, which translated into enormous commercial growth of billions of dollars. Brazilian authorities also delivered speeches greeting Iran for its National Day.
The ambassador informed that his mission in Brazil was nearing its end and thanked everyone for all the support and friendship shown during the years of work in Brazil. He was greatly applauded by everyone.

Everyone participated in the celebration dinner and the atmosphere of fraternization was intense in the social rooms and balconies of the Clube Naval.
