The event “Janeiro Geek” (Geek January) will take place until February 3rd, at Estação SESC 504 Sul, from 9am to 8pm.
The activity will feature art exhibitions, nerdy objects fair, workshops, e-games championships, cosplay contest, RPG and board tables and more. The highlight is the presence, on January 30th, of the screenwriter of the Mauricio de Sousa Production, Gerson Luiz Borlotti Teixeira, daughter of the creator of the famous Brazilian comics Turma da Mônica, Magali Spada de Sousa, and the cartoonist and journalist, José Alberto Lovetro.
The chat titled “Mauricio de Sousa por Todos Nós” (Mauricio de Sousa for All of Us) will take place on the National Comic Book Day. At the opportunity there will be also held the opening of an exhibition with Brazilian comics and a comic contest.
