Starting Tuesday, April 28th, until the 25th of August, the french movie festival “Festival Varilux” will make 50 of their previously screened films from other editions available online, free of charge.
Presented by the Embassy of France in Brazil and the company Essilor Varilux, the “Festival Varilux” started 10 years ago, in 2010, on 9 different cities around the country. And since then the festival spread itself to over 80 cities.
With the theatrical edition postponed due to the coronavirus, the “Festival Varilux” made 50 French films available through streaming, absolutely free.
With the name “Festival Varilux Em Casa” (Festival Varilux at home), the initiative brings together comedies, dramas, thrillers, historical films and children’s movies that were shown in previous editions of the traditional French film festival.
The selection will be available for four months, starting this Tuesday (28), on the website. All you need to do is register to access the movies.
The Varilux French Film Festival was scheduled to take place between June 4th and 17th, but was postponed due to the coronavirus.

De terça-feira, 28 de abril, até 25 de agosto, o festival de cinema francês “Festival Varilux” fará 50 de seus filmes exibidos anteriormente em outras edições disponíveis on-line, gratuitamente.
Apresentado pela Embaixada da França no Brasil e pela empresa Essilor Varilux, o “Festival Varilux” começou há 10 anos, em 2010, em 9 cidades diferentes do país. E desde então o festival se espalhou por mais de 80 cidades.
Com a edição teatral adiada devido ao coronavírus, o “Festival Varilux” disponibilizou 50 filmes franceses por streaming, totalmente gratuitos.
Com o nome “Festival Varilux Em Casa”, a iniciativa reúne comédias, dramas, thrillers, filmes históricos e filmes infantis que foram exibidos em edições anteriores do tradicional festival de cinema francês.
A seleção estará disponível por quatro meses, a partir desta terça-feira (28), no site. Tudo que você precisa fazer é se registrar para acessar os filmes.
O Festival de Cinema Francês da Varilux estava programado para ocorrer entre os dias 4 e 17 de junho, mas foi adiado devido ao coronavírus.
