Farewell celebrations to Mr. S Koventhan, Deputy Chief of Mission in the Embassy of India

The Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of India, Mr. S. Koventhan, along with his wife, Mrs. Vibhuti Koventhan, was honored during this month of July, after completing with excellence his work in the Indian diplomacy with Brazil.

One of the homages was a lunch held at a restaurant located in the Asa Sul district, in which Mr. Koventhan received a select group of friends, including diplomats, Brazilian government authorities, businessmen, lawyers and journalists, in addition to the ambassador of India to Brazil, Mr. Suresh Reddy. The week after lunch, the ambassador promoted a cocktail reception at his residence to honor Mr. Koventhan, as well as to thank him for the excellent work carried out in Brazil.

Both events were marked by an atmosphere of joy and fellowship, as well as a feeling of longing for the departure of a friend. The guests and the ambassador offered words of praise and thanks to Mr. Koventhan, who also spoke at both events and thanked the support received by his colleagues and friends during his time in Brazil.

The cocktail reception was held at the official residence.
