Convention FEVEREIRO GEEK at Espaço Cultural SESC brings the best of geek culture to all ages.

On Saturday, February 15^th and Sunday, February 16^th, the Espaço Cultural, in Asa Sul, SESC will the holding the FEVEREIRO Geek convention.

The event provides many activities for those with a creative mind and an interest in geek culture, especially those interested in comic books. The event will provide lectures and round tables on the local comic book industry, there will be industry professionals reviewing the portfolios of aspiring comic book authors, it will be provided a space for RPG aficionados to gather with even a workshop in acting for Live Action Role Playing (LARP), for fans of board games there will be a section where you can try out many different board games and even prototypes made by local game designers.

But possibly one of the biggest attractions of the event will be the artist’s alley, with many of the invited artists’ works for people to admire and purchase.

No sábado, 15 de fevereiro e domingo, 16 de fevereiro, o Espaço Cultural SESC realizará a convenção de cultura nerd FEVEREIRO Geek.

O evento oferece muitas atividades para aqueles com uma mente criativa e um interesse na cultura pop, especialmente aqueles interessados em histórias em quadrinhos. O evento fornecerá palestras e mesas-redondas sobre a indústria local de histórias em quadrinhos, haverá profissionais revisando os portfólios de aspirantes a autores de histórias em quadrinhos, proporcionará um espaço para que os aficionados por RPG se reúnam com até uma oficina de atuação para o Live Action Role Playing, por fãs de jogos de tabuleiro, haverá uma seção na qual você poderá experimentar diversos jogos de tabuleiro e até protótipos criados por designers de jogos locais.

Mas possivelmente uma das maiores atrações do evento será o beco do artista, com muitas obras dos artistas convidados para que as pessoas admirem e comprem.
