On Thursday, August 29th 2024, the Clube da Aeronáutica (Brasília Aeronautics Club) hosted the “Brazilian Defense Day – Embassies” event, an initiative aimed at strengthening diplomatic relations and creating opportunities for the export of Brazilian defense products, services, and systems. The gathering sought to foster closer ties with partner nations and promote the Brazilian defense industry on the international stage.
The event began at 8:00am with a welcome breakfast. During it, hundreds of guests, including military personnel, industry executives, defense attachés, diplomats and Brazilian authorities were able to get acquainted while enjoying a buffet featuring a selection of pastries, bread, fruits, and various typical breakfast treats.

After breakfast, the Brazilian Defense Day officially commenced with the performance of the Brazilian National Anthem. The anthem was accompanied by a video showcasing the prowess of the Brazilian Armed Forces, highlighting their capabilities and achievements. The event was presented as a joint initiative between the Ministry of Defense and the Associação Brasileira das Indústrias de Materiais de Defesa e Segurança –ABIMDE (Brazilian Defense and Security Industries Association – ABIMDE), underscoring the cooperation between the government and the private sector in promoting the national defense industry.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of ABIMDE, Dr. Roberto Gallo, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the Brazilian Defense and Security Industry.
The event continued with a series of presentations from defense sector companies, including security, military materials for aerial use such as missiles, jets, aircraft parts, and drones and much more. The first company to present itself was KRYPTUS, a company specialized in maximum security communications. The company already works with Brazilian government agencies and several countries in the international community.

After lunch, more companies presented their products, covering both the aerial sector and land-based military monitoring and support systems, essential for troops in the field. Companies of other defense areas also presented themselves as of field utility equipment such as tents, survival kits, and uniforms.
The event concluded in the afternoon, providing participating companies with the opportunity to engage in networking and expand their reach in the international market.

Na quinta-feira, 29 de agosto, o Clube da Aeronáutica de Brasília foi palco do evento Brazilian Defense Day – Embaixadas, uma iniciativa voltada para o fortalecimento de relações diplomáticas e a criação de oportunidades para a exportação de produtos, serviços e sistemas de defesa brasileiros. O encontro visou estreitar laços com nações parceiras e promover a indústria de defesa nacional no cenário internacional.
O evento teve início às 8 horas da manhã com um café da manhã de boas-vindas. Durante esse período, os convidados puderam se ambientar enquanto desfrutavam de um buffet contendo roscas, pães, frutas e diversos quitutes típicos do Brasil.
Em seguida, o Brazilian Defense Day teve início com a execução do Hino Nacional Brasileiro. A apresentação do hino foi acompanhada por um vídeo que destacava as proezas das forças armadas brasileiras, exaltando suas capacidades e conquistas. O evento foi apresentado como uma iniciativa conjunta entre o Ministério da Defesa e a Associação Brasileira das Indústrias de Materiais de Defesa e Segurança (ABIMDE), reforçando a cooperação entre governo e setor privado na promoção da indústria de defesa nacional.
O evento prosseguiu com uma série de apresentações de empresas do setor de defesa, como segurança eletrônica, materiais militares de uso aéreo, como mísseis, jatos, peças de aeronaves, drones e muito mais. A primeira empresa a se apresentar foi a KRYPTUS, do ramo de comunicações de segurança máxima. A empresa já trabalha com órgãos do governo brasileiro e vários países da comunidade internacional.
Após o almoço, mais empresas apresentaram seus serviços, abrangendo áreas diversas como as do setor aéreo e de sistemas de monitoramento e suporte militar terrestre, essenciais para as tropas em campo. Empresas de veículos de combate e de equipamentos de utilidade em campo, como barracas, kits de sobrevivência e uniformes também fizeram apresentações.
O evento foi encerrado durante a tarde, momento em que as empresas participantes tiveram a oportunidade de investir em networking e expandir seu alcance no mercado internacional.
