The Distrito Federal Government has issued a new decree on Tuesday, April 13th, which changes the working hours of bars and restaurants around the city.
On a new decree published on Tuesday (April 13th) by Governor Ibaneis Rocha expanded the operation of bars and restaurants by two hours and the period allowed for the sale of alcoholic beverages by one hour.
Before, due to the covid-19 pandemic, bars and restaurants in Brasília and the surrounding area were allowed to operate only until 7 pm. Starting Tuesday (April 13th), they can operate until 9 p.m.
The hours allowed for the sale of alcoholic beverages in stores, markets, distributors and grocery stores have also been extended from 8:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. The new decree, however, did not change the curfew. Circulation through the streets of the capital remains restricted between 10 p.m and 5 a.m.
The new decree, however, authorizes the holding of official sports competitions, including football matches, after 10 pm. The decree also authorizes the operation of club marinas on the shore of the Paranoá lake, although only with 50% of the capacity for vessels.

O Governo do Distrito Federal emitiu um novo decreto nesta terça-feira, 13 de abril, que altera o horário de funcionamento de bares e restaurantes da cidade.
Em novo decreto publicado nesta terça-feira (13 de abril) pelo governador Ibaneis Rocha, ampliou em duas horas o funcionamento dos bares e restaurantes e em uma hora o prazo para a venda de bebidas alcoólicas.
Antes, devido à pandemia de covid-19, os bares e restaurantes de Brasília e entorno só podiam funcionar até as 19 horas. A partir de terça-feira (13 de abril), eles podem operar até as 21h.
O horário permitido para a venda de bebidas alcoólicas em lojas, mercados, distribuidoras e mercearias também foi ampliado das 20h00 para as 21h00. O novo decreto, no entanto, não alterou o toque de recolher. A circulação pelas ruas da capital continua restrita entre 22h e 5h.
O novo decreto, porém, autoriza a realização de competições esportivas oficiais, inclusive jogos de futebol, a partir das 22h. O decreto também autoriza a operação de club marinas na orla do lago Paranoá, embora com apenas 50% da capacidade das embarcações.
