The art exhibit Linhas da Vida by Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota has been made available online by the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB) through the app “Chiharu Shiota – Life lines”.
The exhibit started before the Covid-19 crisis in Brazil and had to be suspended due to the decrees issuing the suspension of all cultural activities in Brasília, now those who didn’t get the chance to experience it will be able to from the comfort of their homes.
The app is available for Android and iOS, you can access photos, texts and exclusive videos of the exhibition, such as the making off of the work “Além da Memória”,an installation of monumental proportions that was built in the glass pavilion.
Other exhibits have been made available online by the many CCBB locations around the country and we at THE GUIDE will provide more information about them in the following days.

A exposição de arte Linhas da Vida, da artista japonêsa Chiharu Shiota, foi disponibilizada on-line pelo Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB) por meio do aplicativo “Chiharu Shiota – Life Lines”.
A exposição começou antes da crise do Covid-19 no Brasil e teve que ser suspensa devido aos decretos que emitiam a suspensão de todas as atividades culturais em Brasília, agora aqueles que não tiveram a chance de visita-la poderão apreciar ela do conforto de suas casas.
O aplicativo está disponível para Android e iOS, você pode acessar fotos, textos e vídeos exclusivos da exposição, como a realização da obra “Além da Memória”, uma instalação de proporções monumentais que foi construída no pavilhão de vidro.
