Michel, a young man bereaved by the recent loss of his mother, a renowned actress, embarks on a dark journey by agreeing to play William Shakespeare’s bloodthirsty protagonist in a theatre production. As the process unfolds, strange events throw Michel into a maelstrom of ascension, madness and mourning, revealing the complexities of the human mind.
The play “Sombrio” plunges into the depths of psychopathy, taking inspiration from Shakespeare’s cursed work “Macbeth”. The dark atmosphere of the show transports the audience to a scenario where memories and reality intertwine, like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle about to be revealed.
