Fairy tales are not going anywhere. The proof is the success of “Cinderella, the Musical”, that after being seen by more than 120 thousand people in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, is in a national tour until the end of the year. Brasília is the next city to be amazed by the musical, in short season that commences in May.

Who has never dreamed of a prince charming? This is a universal desire and has given rise to a series of fairy tales that are perpetuated from generation to generation. None of them, however, is more famous than Cinderella, the maid who turns into a princess for a day and finds her great love thanks to the lost crystal slipper.

The musical direction is by Carlos Bauzys (‘Singing in the Rain’, ‘Man de la mancha’, ‘The Drunken Godmother’, ‘Cloud of tears’, ‘Hello, Dolly!’). The musical features an orchestra of 16 musicians that brings even more magic to the live performances on stage.

The Broadway musical debuted in 2013, written by Douglas Carter Beane, and had nine nominations at the Tony Awards, as well as winning three Dramas Desk. It is the first time that the musical is assembled out of the United States.
