The dance show “Cubaxé” presents the best of what there is in Cuban culture through dance and music. The spectacle will be presented at Teatro Brasília Shopping this Friday, February 23.
“Cubaxé” brings the most diverse musical and corporal expressions in order to enhance Cuban artistic traditions and to spread the new musical tendencies of the Caribbean island. The show will amaze the audience with a visual and sound experience in which it will be possible not only to know but also to feel the elements that create the Cuban cultural identity.
The show is directed by Cuban dancer and choreographer Melquíade Hernández. Known in the local art scene as Mel, he worked in several Havana dance companies during the 1990s, 2000s and 2010.
