The Brazilian Ministry of Defense concluded its participation in the 15th edition of LAAD Defense & Security on Friday (4). The event, focused on defense and security, brought together around 400 exhibiting brands and 200 delegations from 40 countries, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). The fair brought technological innovations in segments such as land vehicles, aircraft, weapons, cybersecurity and solutions for defense and public safety. The Defense Ministry was present with a stand, in addition to five rooms to fulfill an agenda of around 60 institutional meetings. During the event, the Minister of Defense, José Múcio Monteiro; the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces, Admiral Renato Rodrigues de Aguiar Freire; the Secretary-General, Luiz Henrique Pochyly da Costa; and the Secretary of Defense Products, Heraldo Luiz Rodrigues, held meetings with delegations and representatives from around 30 countries, with the aim of strengthening strategic ties and promoting the development of the national defense industry.

O Ministério da Defesa do Brasil encerrou sua participação na 15ª edição da LAAD Defence & Security na sexta-feira (4). O evento, voltado para defesa e segurança, reuniu cerca de 400 marcas expositoras e 200 delegações de 40 países, no Rio de Janeiro (RJ). A feira trouxe inovações tecnológicas em segmentos como veículos terrestres, aeronaves, armamentos, segurança cibernética e soluções para defesa e segurança pública. A Defesa esteve presente com estande, além de cinco salas para cumprir uma agenda de cerca de 60 reuniões institucionais. Durante o evento, o Ministro da Defesa, José Múcio Monteiro; o Chefe do Estado Maior Conjunto das Forças Armadas, Almirante de Esquadra Renato Rodrigues de Aguiar Freire; o Secretário-Geral, Luiz Henrique Pochyly da Costa; e o Secretário de Produtos de Defesa, Heraldo Luiz Rodrigues, realizaram encontros com delegações e representantes de cerca de 30 países, com o objetivo de fortalecer os laços estratégicos e promover o fomento da indústria nacional de defesa.
