As part of the official festivities celebrating Brasília’s 65th anniversary, a special edition of the Restaurant Week festival kicked off on Monday, April 14th, and will go until April 27th — aiming to energize the city’s culinary scene and invite locals and visitors alike to explore its gastronomic diversity.

This commemorative edition brings together over 70 participating restaurants, each offering specially curated three-course menus starting at R$65 as a symbolic reference to the city’s age. The menus include a starter, main course, and dessert, thoughtfully prepared to showcase both creativity and local flavors.

Adding a playful and patriotic twist to the experience, many of the restaurants have named their dishes in honor of Brasília’s heritage and landmarks. Expect to find inventive creations like “Empanada dos Ministérios”, “Plano Polenta”, “Camarão 65”, “Filé Candango”, and “Quadradinho de Chocolate” — each plate a delicious tribute to the capital.

Whether you’re a longtime resident, visiting dignitary, or part of Brasília’s international community, this edition of Restaurant Week offers a unique opportunity to taste the city in celebration. Reservations are recommended, as demand tends to be high during the festival.
