The exhibition Caminho para lua (Path to the moon), by Pedro Gandra, shows the art derived from his observations about the world that he wrote in his notebook. The artist’s first solo presentation is happening at the Art Gallery Reference (Referência Galeria de Arte), on Asa Norte. The exhibition is curated by Ms.Marília Panitz, and presents a recent profile of the production.
Ink, gesture, and narrative tension meet in a random and nonlinear way on the exposed canvases. Scenery landscapes remain a constant. However, this time they come up with a nocturnal look, which allows the presence of creatures and mystery. An avid devourer of books of fiction, the artist reflects the photographic influences of Chichico Alkmin and also movies and literature.

Na exposição Caminho para lua, de Pedro Gandra, o artista mostra a arte derivada das suas observações sobre o mundo que faz em seu bloco de notas. A primeira individual do artista, na Referência Galeria de Arte, na Asa Norte. Sob o olhar curatorial de Marília Panitz, Gandra apresenta um recorte recente da produção.
Tinta, gesto e tensão narrativa se encontram de maneira randômica e nada linear nas telas expostas. As paisagens-cenário permanecem uma constante. Contudo, desta vez, surgem com um olhar noturno, o que permite a presença de criaturas e do mistério. Devorador ávido de livros de ficção, o artista transparece as influências fotográficas de Chichico Alkmin, do cinema e da literatura.
